...SYNOPSIS...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE FOUR CORNERS REGION THROUGH THE MAJORITY OF THE DAY 2 TIME FRAME, BEFORE A CDFNT PUSHES INTO THE REGION LATER IN THE EVENING BRINGING AN INCREASED CHANCE FOR RN/SN ACROSS A PORTION OF THE OUTLINED AREAS.

...MARGINAL RISK...SERN CALIFORNIA...SRN NEVADA...SWRN AND SOUTH-CENTRAL UTAH...MOST OF ARIZONA...CNTRL AND SRN NEW MEXICO...AND WRN AND SWRN TEXAS..

...SLIGHT RISK...EXTREME SERN CALIFORNIA...CNTRL ARIZONA...AND WEST-CENTRAL NEW MEXICO..

...MARGINAL RISK...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE THE FOUR CORNERS REGION THROUGH THE MAJORITY OF THE DAY 2 TIME FRAME...LOW DEW POINT VALUES OF 20-30 DEGREES WITH WINDS OF 10-20 KNOTS ALONG WITH RELATIVELY LOW RH VALUES WILL SUPPORT AND INCREASED THREAT FOR GROWING WILDFIRE POTENTIAL ACROSS THIS AREA.

A CDFNT WILL ADVANCE INTO THE REGION LATE ON SUNDAY FROM THE NW BRINGING THE POTENTIAL FOR RN/SN TO THE REGION WILL AID IN LOWERING THE FIRE POTENTIAL THREAT ACROSS THE WESTERN SECTIONS OF THE OUTLINED AREA.

...SLIGHT RISK...

MODELS APPEAR TO BE IN PRETTY GOOD AGREEMENT WITH A GROWING CONCERN FOR WILDFIRE GROWTH. DEW POINTS ACROSS THE SLIGHT RISK AREA OF AROUND 20-30 DEGREES WITH INCREASING WINDS OF 15-25 KNOTS WITH LOCALIZED AREAS OF 30 KNOTS AND EXTREMELY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUE WILL PROVIDE AN INCREASED RISK FOR ANY FIRES THAT WERE TO DEVELOP TO RAPIDLY SPREAD AND BECOME OUT OF CONTROL.

WE WILL BE CLOSELY MONITORING THIS AREA AND WILL UPDATE AS NEEDED...IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT A FIRE DANGER PWA MAY BE NEEDED FOR PORTIONS OF THIS REGION LATER SATURDAY FOR THE INCREASING THREAT SUNDAY.
